Kestrel Cleaning Services and Supplies is a cleaning Contracting Company established in 2002 by Maree and Kim Wood based in the mining town of Port Hedland. As of today they are leading cleaning services company in Port Hedland.Kim and Maree saw an opportunity for a specialised, quality local service provider to cater for the specific needs of the businesses and residents of their own town. They were also fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. In 2003 we bought out, a small sole trading cleaning business called “Pilbara Dustbusters” which was then taken under the banner of Kestrel Contracting Pty Ltd.
As the saying goes “From Little things big things grow”. At the company’s inception in 2002 there was a total of 15 clients, 4 staff members and the business was working out of a room in Kim and Maree’s house as well as the back shed. Today, Kestrel Cleaning Services and Supplies has an Office and large warehouse on a 200sqm block in Wedgefield, a Team of 6 Office Staff, 6 Supervisors including our Operations Supervisor, 50 Cleaning Staff, a Fleet of 9 Company Motor Vehicles and over 80 clients that we service regularly. Kestrel provides cleaning services such as commercial cleaning, corporate cleaning, and mine site cleaning and also offers local cleaning services in Port Hedland area.
